My name is Carissa and I’m the artist behind Wandering Acres Art.
I have wanted to be a professional artist my entire life, and in 2019 it finally came together after I discovered my love of Watercolor painting. When I’m not painting, you can find me working on my little hobby farm in Cedarburg, Wisconsin or playing and homeschooling my two young boys.
Wandering Acres Art evolved through the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020. Despite the fact that traveling was nearly impossible, my heart still yearned to see new things, to explore the wonders of the world. I found that wonder in creating artwork, and wanted to share that wonder with others.
My hope is that when you bring one of my paintings home that it changes your home, your life, for the better. That it brings you just a touch more wonder.
